Knowledgebase: Regional Settings - Error when inserting trade log record

If you have entered a new trade in the model columns of the option chain and then clicked 'Commit Trade', entered the trade documentation, clicked 'Save' and then received the message 'Error when inserting trade log record', please check your computers Regional Settings.

ONE currently only supports US or UK Regional Settings (Control Panel\Clock, Language, and Region\Change the date, time or number format). This mostly affects European users because Europe use a comma rather than a full stop for a decimal place.

More specifically, the number format must use:

. (full stop) for decimal symbol

, (comma) for digit grouping symbol

- (dash) for negative number format
